Privacy
The short version: Fylune is designed so the core editor does not need your document data.
Local documents
Files you open in the Fylune desktop app remain on your device unless you explicitly choose a future cloud feature. Core editing does not require an account.
Website data
Download metrics include installer type, button location, language and a random browser ID. On public website pages, we use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity session replay and heatmaps to understand clicks, scrolling and navigation and improve usability. Clarity can collect public page content, URLs, device and interaction data and use cookies according to the configured analytics consent signal. Public text and images remain visible in recordings. Login, account, payment, document editor and shared-document pages are excluded from Clarity. We do not send document content, names or file paths to analytics. Clarity respects browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals and saved analytics refusals.
Account data
When you sign in, Fylune stores your email address, provider identity, and security session records. Authentication never includes document content, file names, or file paths.
Optional services
Desktop cloud sync is opt-in and client-encrypted. The web editor automatically saves complete document snapshots, filenames, template references and form fields to your Fylune account, including a guest User created on entry. Web cloud copies are server-readable, not end-to-end encrypted. Register to upgrade your guest account, or sign in to transfer its files to your existing account. Keep your guest browser session until then; clearing it can remove your access. AI receives only the answers, fields and resources you submit, not the full edited PDF. Document content and filenames are not included in analytics.
